TREND REPORT
Aircraft, ships and trains come to the end of their economic life and need to be decommissioned in a cost effective manner. The environmentally friendly way to do this is to harvest the engines and components and to recycle the metal which is mostly aluminum and copper. MAP provides that service for commercial and military aircraft from its base in Bisbee-Douglas International Airport, Arizona.

Useful Fact

More than 80% of all the aluminum produced since the metal was first produced in commercial quantities in 1888 remains in productive service today due to successful recycling programs.
